2022 / 10 / 14
On October 12, 2022, the Rondeli Foundation hosted an award ceremony for graduates of the 2021-2022 academic year of the flagship Training Program in National Security and Public Policy. Ekaterine Metreveli, President of the Rondel Foundation, and H.E. Kelly Degnan, the US Ambassador to Georgia, addressed the graduates and welcomed the new cohort.
"We value the continuous support of our strategic partner, the United States, whose contribution to ensuring peace and security in Georgia and the broader Black Sea region is crucial for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity” – noted Ekaterine Metreveli during her speech.
The Training Program in National Security and Public Policy is the Rondeli Foundation’s flagship program and has been implemented with the support of the US Embassy for more than 20 years. The one-year training program prepares national security analysts for career advancement in security structures, diplomatic service, non-governmental organizations or the business sector.
The program offers training in analytical methods and approaches to national security and public policy and focuses on skills and knowledge necessary to participate in the national security policy process and shape its future.
The program is implemented with the financial support of the government of the United States and has had more than 500 graduates since 2001. A total of 32 representatives of the government sector, non-governmental organizations and media were part of the cohort of the academic year 2021-2022. There are 36 new participants this year.
