Presentation of Report “Georgia’s Choices: Charting a Future in Uncertain Times” by Thomas de Waal

On July 1, 2011 Thomas de Waal, a Senior Associate in the Russia and Eurasia Program at the Carnegie Endowment, presented his new report “Georgia’s Choices: Charting a Future in Uncertain Times” at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies.  Dr. Alexander Rondeli, President, GFSIS, moderated the event. The foundation’s Senior Fellows Dr. Archil Gegeshidze, Dr. Vladimer Papava and Dr. Kakha Gogolashvili were among the key note speakers.  Thomas de Waal devoted a considerable amount of the presentation time to a Question and Answer session and eagerly answered a number of questions from the audience. The attendees included local and international analysts, experts, diplomats accredited in Georgia, government representatives and the media.
