This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Donbas Area – Northeast

At the northern end of the frontline in this area Russians unsuccessfully tried to advance on Hryhorivka and Verkhnokamyanske. The status of control over Bilohorivka was unclear as of the time of writing.

Spirne, previously taken by Russians, became contested again after a Ukrainian counterattack.

East of Bakhmut, Russians possibly took Pokrovske although this required confirmation.

Further south, Russians attacked towards Vesela Dolyna, Kodema and Vershyna without success. Ukrainians were in control of most of Novoluhanske and continued to repel Russians attacks in this town.

Donbas Area – North

Intense combat continued in Bohorodychne with Russians in control of most of the town, and Ukrainians retaining its southern outskirts.

Kurulka apparently changed hands first falling to the Russians, and then coming back under Ukrainians’ control after they counterattacked.

Donbas Area – Southeast

Intense fighting occurred in Kamyanka with Russians entering the village before being pushed out by a Ukrainian counterattack.

Black Sea Area

Ukrainians consolidated their control over village Kyselivka northwest of the Kherson city after weeks of fighting which saw the two sides attacking and counterattacking one another repeatedly.

Static shot from the Russo-Ukrainian War interactive map, Black Sea Area as of the morning 15 July 2022. All information on the maps is approximate.

Kharkiv Area

Russians continued their prolonged but unsuccessful attacks towards the village of Dementiivka.

Fighting continued without publicly known major territorial changes in Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South.
