Chinese Embassy in Armenia gave awards to Chinese language teachers, students

On December 14, the Chinese Embassy in Armenia held an awarding grants ceremony for the best teachers, students, and pupils of the Chinese language, the Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Fan Yong reported.

 

A Chinese language cabinet was opened in Georgia's Free School Ltd

On December 1, an event "China Day" was held in Georgia's Free School Ltd and a Chinese language cabinet was opened.

Georgia's Free School Ltd together with its partner, the Confucius Institute at the Alte University, held the event. Reportedly, the event was dedicated to the promotion of the Chinese language and culture. The Director of the Confucius Institute, Wengang Zhang attended the event. The Chinese teachers at the institute and students interested in China participated in the event.

According to the Free School report, the Confucius Institute Director opened a Chinese language cabinet in the school and awarded the Free School Ltd with a computer "for the promotion of the Chinese language and culture".

AZPROMO and a Chinese company discussed investment opportunities

Azerbaijan's Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and a Chinese company discussed opportunities for cooperation on investment in energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors, Azernews reported on January 5.

The topics were discussed during a meeting between Azerbaijan's Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) head Yusif Abdullayev and the Chinese company China Energy and Engineering Group Co. Vice President for South Asia region Wang Jiliang.

Abdullayev spoke about the agency's activities, the favorable business and investment environment created in Azerbaijan, and the implemented investment projects, inviting Chinese companies to cooperate actively.

Wang Jiliang presented a brief on his company's activities.

 

"Compatriots" in Azerbaijan made positive contributions to deepening the friendship between China and Azerbaijan, the Chinese Ambassador says

From January 5 to 10, the Chinese Embassy in Azerbaijan held activities for the Chinese in Azerbaijan, and the Chinese Ambassador in Azerbaijan, Guo Min, distributed Spring Festival packages to overseas Chinese, teachers and students of the Confucius Institute, and personnel of Chinese-funded enterprises in Azerbaijan.

According to the Chinese Embassy, the two sides will work together to push forward the in-depth development of "China-Azerbaijan friendly cooperation to better benefit the two countries and the two peoples".

Guo Min said that the "compatriots" in Azerbaijan made positive contributions to deepening the traditional friendship between China and Azerbaijan and had pragmatic cooperation in various fields.

"History of China" was published in Georgia, according to the President of the Association of Sinologists and the Director of the Confucius Institute at the Free University of Tbilisi Marine Jibladze, NewsDay reported on January 3.

The group of authors of the book are: Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Archil Kalandia, Marine Jibladze, Otar Chigladze, David Andguladze, Nana Gelashvili, and Shalva Chikhladze.

Reportedly, among others, Chinese historians and linguists were thanked for working on the book.
