This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

During the reported period, Russians continued their attacks all over the Donbas region. In Mariupol, the defenders’ situation became critical.

Donbas Area

After taking Kreminna as reported in the last issue, Russians apparently achieved some new progress in the area to the west of it, likely taking the town of Zarichne.

Russian attacks failed in Rubizhne and Popasna, as well as towards Severodonetsk. They also were not able to advance in the area south of Izyum despite their attempts to do so.

Russians failed to advance in the southern part of the Donbas frontline. Ukrainians conducted a counterattack, reportedly reestablishing full control over Mar’inka.
