Rondeli Russian Military Digest

The Battle of Ukraine, Special Issue 33, From 30 May, 15:00 to 1 June, 12:00 Kyiv Time

This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Donbas Area - Northeast

Russian forces captured over half of Severodonetsk including the city center. Ukrainian forces retained control over the western part of the city.

Russians were not able to advance on Lysychansk despite attempts to do so from the southeast.

No other major territorial changes occurred in this area despite heavy fighting taking place all over it.

Donbas Area - North

Russians continued to consolidate their control on the northern bank of the Syverskyi Donets River after the capture of Liman, taking several villages including Dibrova and Yarova.

Russian attacks in the area of villages Kurulka and Dovhenke were unsuccessful.

 

Black Sea Area

Fighting continued in the area of Ukrainian attack around Davydiv Brid without new major territorial changes.

To the northeast, Ukrainian forces liberated the village of Mykolaivka threatening the flank of Russian advanced positions around Vysokopillya.

Fighting was also reported at the Russian-held town of Snihurivka.

 

 

Black Sea Area, 1 June

 

Kharkiv Area

Fighting continued along the frontline north of Kharkiv without confirmed major changes.

 

No major changes occurred in Donbas Area – Southeast, Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area.
