This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Donbas Area – North and Izyum Area

Fighting without major changes continued on the line of the Ukrainian-controlled villages: Karnaukhivka, Dmytrivka, Virnopillya, Nova Dmytrivka, Dibrovne, Mazanivka, Dolyna, and in the area between Pasika and Bohorodychne. Dovhenke appeared to be under the Russian control.

Donbas Area – Northeast

No territorial changes occurred in the northern section of this area despite new Russian attempts to advance towards Ivano-Dar’ivka and Vyimka.

Heavy fighting continued within village Yakovlivka and the town of Soledar, as well as east of Bakhmut and village Zaitseve. Vershyna was taken by Russians.

In the southern section, Russians took Dacha while Ukrainians were back in control of Zaitseve (the southern one, immediately adjacent to the city of Horlivka) and repelled Russian attacks on Kodema.

Donbas Area – Southeast

Russian attacks on village Niu-York from east and south were repelled by Ukrainians.

Ukrainians also repelled Russian attacks on the northern and southern flanks of Avdiivka – towards Krasnohorivka and Opytne.

West of Donetsk city, Russians tried and failed to advance towards Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Mar’inka. Fighting for Novomykhailivka apparently resulted in the Ukrainian control over the village.

Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area

Fighting without major territorial changes occurred between villages: Volodymyrivka and Blahodatne, Zolota Nyva and Novodonetske, Velyka Novosilka and yet another village under the name of Blahodatne located 2.5 kilometers to the south of Velyka Novosilka.

Black Sea Area

In the northeastern half of the frontline in this area fighting occurred at many spots without major territorial changes.

West of Snihurivka, Russians attacked and entered village Blahodante (the one located 37 kilometers north of Kherson city, not to be mixed with the one northwest of Kherson). Fighting for the village continued at the time of writing.

Village Oleksandrivka on the Black Sea shore once again was in the Russians’ hands with them attempting to attack to north of it unsuccessfully.

Kharkiv Area

North of Kharkiv, Russians unsuccessfully attacked towards Udy, Pytomnyk and Borshchova.

Southeast of Kharkiv, Russians failed in their attempts to attack on the section of the frontline between Lebyazhe and Hrakove.
