This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.
Donbas Area – North and Oskil River Area Ukrainians broadened their positions on the left bank of the Oskil River, liberating the left-bank part of the city of Kupyansk as well as Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, Kucherivka and Podoly. Fighting was reported at the crossing on the Oskil River near Dvorichna. East of the town of Oskil, they liberated Yatskivka, Krymky and Oleksandrivka, starting the battle for the town of Rubtsi. Near Svyatohirsk (and northwest of Lyman) Ukrainians liberated the town of Yarova launching attacks towards Drobysheve. Fighting continued on the outskirts of Lyman and Yampil.

Black Sea Area Ukrainians made new small advances on all three major directions of their offensive in this area: their breakthrough area across the Inhulets River, northwest of Kherson city, and in the northeastern part of the frontline. Village Oleksandrivka on the coast west of Kherson city was revealed to be under the Russian control.
Donbas Area – Northeast Ukrainians continued to attack at the northern end of the frontline in this area, towards Lysychansk and Verkhnokamyanka. The extent of their advance was unclear at the time of writing. In the central and southern parts of the frontline in this area Russians continued to attack without major territorial changes.
Donbas Area – Southeast West of Donetsk city, Russians advanced a little, getting closer to Krasnohorivka and Nevelske. Heavy fighting without major changes continues in Mar’inka.
Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area No major changes occurred in these areas. |
