Rondeli Russian Military Digest

The Battle of Ukraine, Special Issue 96, from 26 December, 15:00 to 30 December, 14:00 Kyiv Time

This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

South of Kuzemivka, Ukrainians likely took village Kolomyichykha or most of it, and village Pidkuichansk. Fighting continued in village Novoselivske, west of Kuzemivka.

Intense fighting with mutual attacks and counterattacks continued on the line of Ploshchanka-Chervonopopivka-Zhytlivka, and in the areas west and southwest of Kreminna.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

Russian attacks without major changes occurred north of Soledar, on the line of Vesele-Rozdolivka.

Heavy street fighting with the two sides occasionally pushing one another back a little through attacks and counterattacks went on within Soledar and eastern Bakhmut.

Russians kept up their efforts to advance north and south of Bakhmut with attacks towards Pidhorodne and Klishchiivka. Street fighting continued within village Opytne. Russians also attacked west of Kurdyumivka in the direction of Dyliivka.

At the southern end of the frontline in this area, Russians attacked from Maiorsk in the direction of Druzhba.

Donbas Area – Southeast

Russians continued unsuccessful attacks in the direction of Avdiivka, within Vodyane and Pervomaiske, and in the direction of Nevelske.

Street fighting continued within Mar’inka.

 

No major changes occurred in Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South.
