Rondeli Russian Military Digest

This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Fighting in these areas continued without major territorial changes.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

Russians attacked without success on the Bilohorivka- Verkhnokamyanske-Spirne and Vasyukivka- Fedorivka- Rozdolivka lines.

Heavy fighting continued within village Orikhovo-Vasylivka with Russians unable to advance there or in the direction of Min’kivka.

Heavy street fighting went on within Bakhmut city with Russians achieving minor advances in its north and south.

West of Bakhmut, Russians attacked heavily from both north and south, but were unable to achieve notable advance in the areas of Khromove and Ivanivske.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

West of Krasnohorivka, Ukrainians were able to check Russian advance towards villages Stepove and Berdychi. Russians also attempted to advance towards northern outskirts of Avdiivka, without success. Intense fighting occurred for village Kamyanka with Russians likely entering the village although situation there was unclear as of the time of writing.

Russians advanced a little north of Opytne. Their attacks in other sections of the front south and southwest of Avdiivka, as well as new attacks towards village Nevelske, were repelled by Ukrainians.

Very intense street fighting continued within Mar’inka with Russians advancing a little in the northern and central parts of the town. South of Mar’inka, Russian attacks were repelled by Ukrainians east of village Pobjeda.

Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South

Ukrainians repelled new Russian attacks towards Vuhledar.
