Donbas Area – Northeast Ukrainian command ordered a series of withdrawals during the reported period. Ukrainian forces abandoned Severodonetsk retreating towards the western bank of the Siverskyi Donets River. To the south, Ukrainians retreated from the potential area of encirclement in Hirske, Zolote and Novoivanivka. Russians took Loskutivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka, and launched attacks towards Vovchoyarivka and the southern outskirts of Lysychansk. In the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway area, Russians took village Mykolaivka after more than three weeks of fighting. Ukrainians repelled Russian attacks in other spots near the highway. In the southern end of this area, Russians took Myronivka, and entered the northern part of Klynove with fighting going on inside this village as of the time of writing. Donbas Area – North Heavy fighting continued near Bohorodychne and Dolyna with Ukrainians repelling Russian attacks in this area.
Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area Ukrainians continued their attacks in the area of Pavlivka, liberating village Shevchenko. Ukrainian advance near Pavlivka, 24 June
Black Sea Area Intense fighting went on in this area with Ukrainians continuing their attacks. Their outcome, however, was covered by the fog of war as of the time of writing.
No major territorial changes occurred in Donbas Area – Southeast and Kharkiv Area. |
