This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Intense but inconclusive fighting continued west and south of Kreminna. Fighting without major changes occurred near Hryanykivka.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

Russians attacked without success towards villages Rozdolivka and Vasyukivka.

Northwest of Bakhmut, Russians likely took village Zaliznyanske. Heavy fighting occurred in the eastern part of Orikhovo-Vasylivka. Russians unsuccessfully attacked towards Bohdanivka and advanced in the direction of Khromove without reaching this village.

Within Bakhmut, Ukrainians retreated from the part of the city east of the Bakhmutovka River taking up defenses on its western bank. Russians continued to press the city from the south achieving limited advance.

In the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut, Russians closely approached the Bakhmut-Ivanivske road. Further southwest, they advanced a little in the direction of Predtechyne.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

Russians advanced north of Avdiivka, taking at least large part of Krasnohorivka, attacking Kamyanka from the north, and trying to advance in the direction of the northern outskirts of Avdiivka.

Southwest of Avdiivka, Russians advanced a little from Vodyane in the direction of Sjeverne, without reaching the latter village.

Heavy street fighting continued within Mar’inka.

Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South

Intense fighting without major changes occurred south and southeast of Vuhledar.
