This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.
Belgorod-Kursk Area On 12 March, units of the anti-Kremlin regime Russian military forces launched attacks on the Russian regime’s forces across the Russian-Ukrainian border in Belgorod and Kursk Oblasts. In Belgorod Oblast they took village Kozinka or a large part of it, as well as village Gorkovskii. In Kursk Oblast, they entered village Tetkino where fighting continued as of the time of writing.
Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North Heavy Russian attacks continued in the direction of village Terny.
Donbas Area – Northeast Very heavy street fighting with mutual attacks and counterattacks went on in village Ivanivske. Heavy fighting also continued in village Bohdanivka. Russians attacked toward Klishchiivka without major advance.

Donbas Area – Southeast Very heavy fighting continued on the Berdychi-Orlivka-Tonenke line. Russians took most of Orlivka and Tonenke with fighting still going on in these villages. Heavy Russian attacks continued in Berdychi. Russians also attacked in the direction of Semenivka. Russians advanced within Pervomaiske where intense street fighting continued. Russians kept attacking on the southern outskirts of Krasnohorivka without major advance. Heavy fighting continued in Novomykhailivka.
Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South Russians pushed forward a little on the front north of village Shevchenko. Fighting without major changes continued in the area of Staromaiorske. Russians advanced a little between Novoprokopivka and Verbove.
Black Sea-Dnipro River Area Fighting in the area of Krynky continued without major changes. |
