Public Seminar “Geopolitics: Devil’s Sextant or Human Compass”

On June 3, 2010 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies and Georgian Security Analysis Center (GSAC) hosted a public seminar, “Geopolitics: devil’s sextant or human compass”. The chairman of the seminar was the president of the Foundaition Dr. Alexander Rondeli. The presentation was made by David J. Smith, Director of Georgian Security Analysis Center and the commentator was Tengiz Pkhaladze, Chairman of theInternational Center for Geopolitical Studies.

The presentation was about Geopolitics and its importance in the modern international relations. The speakers also presented Georgia’s Geopolitical importance in the Eurasian heartland.

The presentation was followed by an ardent discussion.  The room was comprised of people from the Government, Non-Governmental Organizations, foreign diplomats and foreign experts.
