Meeting and Lecture of Norway’s Deputy Defense Minister

On April 15, 2010 (State Secretary) Espen Barth Eide visited the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies to meet local military servants and exchange views on current international environment and new tendencies in International security system. Mr. Eide reviewed the changing climate and new economic and security issues in the Arctic. The Minister also discussed NATO-Georgia relations in general and more specifically  Norway-Georgia security relations. Norway’s defense vision and policy were also discussed. The lecture was followed by the Q&A session involving the audience in primary conversation with Minister Eide.
