Seminar “The German Elections 2017 and their Impact on Georgia”

On February 21, 2017 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (Rondeli Foundation) organized a seminar “The German Elections 2017 and their Impact on Georgia”.

The seminar was conducted by Toni Michel, a young researcher at the Rondeli Foundation and M.A. Program student of "Politics and Economics in Eurasia" at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Moscow.

The speakers gave a presentation on Germany, elections of 2017 by discussing the German parliamentary system, possible coalitions, parties and candidates and their foreign policy prospects, the relationship between Germany and Russia etc.

The seminar was attended by the representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, young researchers as well as the Georgian and foreign students from various universities. The presentation was followed by an ardent Q&A period.
